Not Yet...

The fate of slaved India was apparently dark but it was a rather bright morning in Prayagraj (the then Allahabad) in the summers of 1926. In the lush green campus of University of Allahabad, were strolling a few young boys, when they happened to see a gentleman who radiated enormous dignity. He was Dr. Amarnath Jha, a great scholar of Sanskrit and a professor in the university. Dr. Jha was among the first recipients of Padma Bhushan in independent India. Dr. Jha bore such a
stark resemblance to his father Dr. Sir Ganganath Jha (a well recognised scholar, an exemplary educationalist and the then vice chancellor of University of Allahabad) that there were many who used to get baffled in uniquely identifying the two.

The boys greeted him with utmost of respect and very politely asked him , "Sir, are you Dr. Jha, the Vice chancellor ?" Dr. Amarnath Jha smiled with teeming humbleness and very soothingly replied, "Not Yet!"

6 years down the line, Dr. Amarnath Jha was chosen to be the Vice Chancellor of the same university, thereby perhaps making it happen for the the very first time in history, that a son succeeded his father as the Vice Chancellor. He later on was appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University as well.

The aforementioned narrative is just to spread a word that we need to cling on to the thread of optimism at all the times. We never know when the time comes and gives us in adequate proportion what we always remain craving for. We need to place trust in at least ourselves so as to make things happen.

Remember, you never have to say "No" or "Never" to a question which challenges your capacity at the moment (but inherently gives you a sense of optimism), you simply have to say, "Not Yet!"

P.S.: Q.) Looks like I intend to motivate the masses. Am I a saint or a Prophet?
Ans.) Not Yet!
